Hub and Spoke Content System Featured

Your content doesn’t suck… your system does

More of a visual learner? Watch the YouTube video instead.

Let’s get one thing straight.

You’re not bad at content.

You’re not “inconsistent” or “lazy” or “just need to post more.”

You’re just stuck in a broken system.

And that’s not your fault.

Because most of the advice out there? It tells founders to hustle harder. Post more. Show up daily. Be everywhere all the time.

But here’s the truth no one’s saying:

The real problem isn’t you. It’s your content system.

You’re the Bottleneck (But you shouldn’t be)

Let me guess…

You wake up, open Instagram or LinkedIn, and think:

“What the hell am I supposed to post today?”

You’ve got voice notes full of ideas. A Notion page of half-finished drafts. Maybe even a VA or freelancer who helps out from time to time.

But everything still runs through you.

You’re the strategist, the writer, the performer, the editor, the scheduler, oh, and the founder, CEO, and client-delivery machine.

Sound familiar?

Here’s why: most content strategies put you at the center of everything. Which means content can’t move unless you push it forward.

That’s not a system. That’s a treadmill.

And when you’re the one powering it?

You get tired. Fast.

The Cycle That’s Burning You Out

Here’s what I’ve seen over and over again, from agency owners to executive coaches to solo consultants:

They try to “be consistent,” so they post a few times in a row.

Then client work ramps up, so content takes a backseat.

Then leads slow down, panic sets in, and it’s back to square one.

They’ve got good ideas (even great ones) but they’re stuck repackaging the same insight 27 different ways, hoping one goes viral.

And when it doesn’t?

It feels like the whole effort was a waste.

That’s not just frustrating, it’s demoralizing. Because you know you’re smart. You’ve built a successful business. You’ve helped people.

So why does showing up online still feel so damn hard?

Because the system you’re using isn’t built for who you are now.

It was built for people with time, teams, or 10-hour content blocks. You’ve got a sliver of time each month, and a business that can’t afford to waste it.

You don’t need more time. Or more hustle. Or more posts.

You need a system.

Show Up Once. Publish Everywhere.

(Here’s how to stop winging it and start scaling your content with sanity.)

Let’s flip the script.

Instead of waking up every day wondering what to post, what if you created all your content in one focused block of time… and let it run for the rest of the month?

That’s the magic of the Hub & Spoke content system.

It’s a simple but powerful approach I developed after years of trying to scale content without losing my mind (or my weekends). And it starts with one core idea:

Your monthly content isn’t 30 random posts. It’s 1 message, told 8 ways.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Pick one core topic each month.

This isn’t about chasing trends or dumping your camera roll. It’s about aligning your content with what actually drives your business forward, whether that’s attracting new clients, launching a new offer, or establishing authority in your niche.

Step 2: Record your perspective on 8 strategic angles.

You break that core topic down into spokes or 8 distinct but related angles that give depth and dimension to your message. (Think: myths, mistakes, how-tos, frameworks, behind-the-scenes, and bold takes.)

You don’t need a studio. You don’t need a script. You just talk like you’re explaining it to a smart friend or client.

Step 3: Repurpose those recordings into multiple formats.

Each angle becomes a short-form video. The transcript from that video becomes a carousel, a quote graphic, or an email. And all of those together? They form the raw material for long-form assets like newsletters, blog posts, or YouTube content.

Case and point, I used the transcripts from my 8 videos about “Content Systems” to create the newsletter you’re reading right now.

Step 4: Publish with purpose, not pressure.

Now your content isn’t scattered, inconsistent, or rushed. It’s cohesive. Strategic. Aligned with your brand and built for conversion. You’re not scrambling to stay visible, you’re showing up with a plan.

This is the exact system I use to run my personal brand.

And it’s the same system I’ve installed in dozens of founder-led businesses through my agency, Zenpost, especially for people who want to grow their brand without becoming a full-time content creator.

The difference?

They don’t just publish more.

They publish with clarity, consistency, and confidence.

Why This Works (When everything else hasn’t)

Most content strategies fall apart for one simple reason:

They rely too much on you.

They expect you to come up with the ideas, write the captions, film the videos, schedule the posts, all while running a business, leading a team, and serving clients.

That’s not a system. That’s a setup for burnout.

What makes the Hub & Spoke system different is that it shifts the pressure off daily decision-making and into one focused, repeatable process.

You’re not starting from scratch every morning. You’re building once, then distributing with intention.

Here’s what changes:

  • You stop thinking in single posts and start thinking in campaigns. Each month has a clear message and a structured content plan behind it.
  • You stop reacting to algorithms and trends, and start building authority around what you actually want to be known for.
  • You stop creating in chaos and start operating with a system that aligns with your time, your brain, and your business.

The result? Your content becomes cohesive. It stacks. It compounds. Each post builds on the last, instead of disappearing into the feed and leaving you scrambling to fill the next gap.

This isn’t about working harder. It’s about working strategically.

And it’s the system that finally made content sustainable for me, and for every founder I’ve shared it with.

The Founder Shift That Changed Everything

I learned this the hard way.

Back in the Presto Media days (my first content agency), I was drowning in spreadsheets. Hundreds of content pieces, dozens of clients, and a team that needed my brain in every decision.

I thought more tools would help. More templates. More task managers.

But it wasn’t until I restructured the entire workflow, automating the repetitive, systemizing the creative, that things finally clicked.

And later, when I launched Zenpost solo (after my co-founder stepped away), I realized:

It’s not the content that breaks founders.
It’s the process.

So I rebuilt everything from the ground up to work in the real world, for real people with real businesses to run.

Now, I install that same system for my clients, and they’re publishing more (and better) content than ever before… without ever logging into Canva again.

Final Thought: You’re Not the Problem

If you’ve ever looked at someone else’s feed and thought:

“How the hell do they post so much?”

They’re not working harder than you.

They just have a system.

And you can, too.

Because consistent, client-attracting content isn’t a talent, it’s a process.

Let’s make it yours. 🤜🤛
